I'm not familiar with the "cubic feet equivalent" terminology.

XOM specified the XTO-related assets in TCFE rather than TCF because some of the “unconventional” assets (e.g. in the Bakken shale) are liquids rather than gas. For investment purposes, you can ignore the “E” and just use the stated number of cubic feet. Regards, Dew
