I trade options on many occasions.... certainly straddles on earnings plays are my main focus, and I trade the full earnings season and not just the first 3 hot weeks, so I trade earnings in prolly 9 months/year. I also try to play some FDA and drug related events, but those are harder to time and not as consistent as earnings. I also play options intraday on breakouts and bounces in the stock, on stocks like TASR which are very volatile intraday you can hit a quick double in options when you nail a break of support, bounce off support, etc, in the stock, with only putting 10% of money on the table compared to trading the stock. I always liked options cause they are very similar to my OTCBB trading, sure they expire but I never hold penny stocks long, so I am used to cutting my losses quickly and locking in gains partially. Its not for the faint of heart and you need some expirience, and most of all you need to find a style that suits you.
