I agree with Ridge over Dew on this issue. I have studied all of the facts at hand with regard to Squalamine's potential and its safety and there is actually NO REASON to assume as of yet that the drug carries a safety concern! If anything, it is probably a joyous time at the family homes of the loved ones who were lucky enough to be treated with this miracle drug. Why would someone be so concerned and harp on a safety issu when NOTHING as of yet has led them to believe that to be true. Agreed, more testing must be done but why would one harp on an issue that does NOT appear to be an issue! If we simply look at the facts and not speculate or make predictions then a factual statement would be to say that the drug is working amazingly well and could be the best selling ocular drug of all time. Just my opinion---biocrio
