It sounded like you were describing MOP's new technology RESCUE, Rapid Environmental Spill Clean Up Equipment. This process removes the oil from all different kinds of soils, cleans the soil and reclaims the oil. I guess what you are asking is how much of the oil can be reclaimed with this process but I'm not sure there is a way to measure that in a practical application in the field not knowing exactly how much oil has been spilled in any one location. I see what you are saying though, in a controled environment placing a quantified amount of oil in a demo they should show how much of the oil was recovered. That is a good question that we should all dig into so we can arm ourselves with the correct information. I can't say that I've looked for those percentages and if I've read them I've since then forgotten or I have just assumed that they can reclaim 95% of the oil as with other processes. I hope I'm making sense and that helps, It's late and I fried my brain in the sun today (actually at this point yesterday) doing survey work.
