& I do see the name: American Golf there...
it appears to me [IMO] that a series of different entities have passed this corporation down (presumably w/ ticker symbol as part of the deal) , from one to another thru the years....not all that uncommon...it's cheaper & less time consuming to buy an existing symbol than to start from scratch.
And here we are 14yrs later , trying to sort thru this maze...somewhere along the line , somebody screwed-up....apparently there's a the missing link (so-to-speak) , in the required documented history of this entity.
Likely , no fault of Delta's but they're saddled w/ it....looks to be fixable but it will likely be a hassle... we all know how bureaucracies can be grrrrrrrrr
To bad they don't have Title Insurance on a ticker...this resembles a Title fiasco on a home purchase.
