Very true.
I've said it before many times, and I will say it again: Visteon does not belong in BK. But it entered one, and the judge deals with them just like with any other BK company. He takes into considerations facts, i.e. things that have happened in the past. He can not say: "I think the company will continue to make profit in the range of +/- $280 mil per quarter for the next five years, therefore I will kick it out of BK".
It very well may be the case, at least it looks this way, but the judge can't take this in to the equation. There is bad debt, lenders, creditors, and BK laws. This is the extend of his universe. Projections for the future are not. If we understand this, we will be smarter in this, and all other BK cases.
