Again, you're putting the onus on me to prove Intel's strategy. You can choose to believe that Intel will fail in their strategy, and have your own reasons for doing so, but they've laid it out for all to see, and it's not hard to see the technical or business rationale behind the argument. At least, not hard for me to see, or anyone from the links I posted earlier....

Intel is arguing that they port Wintel code to Atom under Android and Meego, with a toolset that makes it easy.

All I see is that Atom will support Windows, Meego, and Android, and will support software that runs on any of these OSs. NOT that they're helping you port across the platforms.

If they were announcing "tools" that let you easily port Windows apps to Linux, IT WOULD BE OBVIOUS. BIG. NEWS. I.e. not requiring reading-between-the-lines.

We can agree to disagree, but I think you're grasping.
