This is funny...I just called the TA for a company.
I guess I got a receptionist to begin with. I asked are you the transfer agent for abcde, she said yes we are, and I said can you tell me what the outstanding is.
She said xxx handles that but she's on the the other line right now can you leave your name and number. I said no that's okay I'll hold if you don't mind, I'm just over on the island...she said fine, what's your name, I said Jim Bishop.
Minute later another lady came on the line and said "hi Jim this is xxx, it's $230.00". I said excuse me, is that what abcde owes you, I don't think you should tell me that, I don't have anything to do with them, I was calling to find out how much stock is outstanding.
