Good grief! NOW he's an expert on scams?! ROFL

He should heed his own advice and substitute the word "charities" for penny stock companies.

A recent phone call of concern:
I just got a phone call from a group known as "Citizen's United" - allegedly a conservative and family values group searching for donations to defeat those "evil liberals." As I was on the other phone, I was unable to take the call (from number 877-212-8798). As I have become apolitical as far as the two scam American political parties are concerned, when I got off of my other call, I immediately called back and asked to be taken off of their calling list. What I found so odd is that although my phone number is blocked, they responded to my request and knew what my number was BEFORE I told them.
I asked the operator if Citizen's United is a private organization or one under the control of the government. She said private. So, can someone please tell me how a private corporation has the power to override my blocked phone number? When I asked the operator how a private and non-governmental agency is able to access my personal information, she paused and then tried to tell me it was my phone company's problem.
My logical deduction? Either this private political fundraising organization has been unlawfully given the rights to our personal information, or more likely, this "conservative" organization, just like the alleged liberal ones, are all scams working for the same governmental elite scam artists, playing the American people like bunch of damn fools.
The lesson of the day? We are all people of limited means. If you want to support a charity, a political cause, a church, environmental group, or whatever, and make your limited means really count for something, make sure the object of your generosity is for real. Don't trust the mere fact they are a well known organization or that they buy a lot of advertising, or even get big endorsements from other organizations you might like (those organizations might be scams to). In fact, the greater the public endorsements, the chances are more likely it could be a scam. Make sure you personally see the organization's accounting of their money such that a very high percentage goes to the real cause and further, make sure you research the company doing the audit. If it is a company doing the audit was created for just that means, evidenced that it is doing the accounting for several alleged "non-profit organizations," then they are probably a scam set up by these scam organizations just to further chump you.
Be wise folks, as much as you are generous or your generosity will be a waste of resources. The various mafias are deeply entrenched with many of these charitable organizations and have no compunction to take money from you under false pretenses. Please be sure to give wisely.
