The United States and England face off Saturday in a high-stakes World Cup matchup. The rivalry dates back to the Revolutionary War, and while relations between the two nations are much cheerier now, [LOL, THAT'S A PLUS!]that hasn't stopped each ambassadors for each country from engaging in some friendly wagering.

In one of the biggest upsets in soccer history, USA beat England 1-0 in the 1950 World Cup in
Brazil. Joe Gaetjens scored on a header in the 37th minute and USA held on for the victory.
