If they didn't, there would be a whole lot of Alabama folks (at least) lined up ready for an old-fashioned lynching. The claims process seems to be getting a bit ridiculous already....deja vu of Katrina and insurance claims. Sad stuff....
Mind you, I don't hold the stockholders responsible for this mess, but I do believe any distributions or spending should be strictly related to clean-up, etc. until we at least have a handle on the situation. Last I heard and saw, we are still adding food coloring to the Gulf in a nice shade of brown.
