One basic argument will focus on BP paying for the "clean up."

Quite frankly, "cleaning up" is one thing.

Destroying the natural environment on which humans depend for not only their livelihoods, but also for the food they eat is another thing.

Nobody at this time is capable of making a realistic assessment of the long-term effects.

The marine food harvest in the Gulf of Mexico is pretty much kaput for the summer season.

Yeah, the need to "clean up" in order to alleviate what can be alleviated in the esterine areas, which can be likened to a giant womb for marine creatures, must take the priority.

The first day of June 2010 wasn't that many days ago.

By December 31 the "tab" will reach $50 billion US.

We're just getting started.

It was Walter Writson, who ran what is now known as Citigroup, who said, "Judgment comes from experience...and experience comes from bad judgment."
