Lehman judge says examiner can subpoena documents
Feb 11 (Reuters) - A judge overseeing the bankruptcy of collapsed U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc (LEHMQ.PK) has approved a motion allowing an independent examiner to issue subpoenas for documents and witnesses related to the bank's downfall.

The U.S. Trustee-appointed examiner, Anton Valukas, will be able to request documents or the examination of a witness without separate applications to the court, said U.S. bankruptcy Judge James Peck in a hearing at a bankruptcy court in Manhattan.
