Was West legally put into the position of President of the company? Shouldn't there have been a shareholder meeting?

Strangely enough, I think probably not. Officers are usually appointed by the board of directors. At the time of West's appointment, the only board member was Urbie. I suspect that under Nevada law, he had the right to appoint West.
