2. Is there a feature available to paid subscribers whereby you can highlight a particular poster on a board, hit a button & get a chronological order of their posts on that particular board?

I like this idea, but don't know when I'll be able to start working on it. The Ad Engine is going to keep me tied up for a while. Darth, can you add this as a line-item on a to-do list for me and when I've got a good idea on an ETA, I'll let you know.


Still not ready to give an ETA on this one.

3. The ability to Recommend others posts.

I'm not sold on this one. Is everyone else? Talk it over amongst yourselves then if it seems the majority likes it, I'd like to hear the best argument for it. I've got plenty of arguments against it ("we're all equals"). I wouldn't mind an impartial 3rd-party culling excellent posts like David Z did on SI, though.


What's the consensus on this one?

4. The ability to Post Polling Questions.

You mean system-run surveys? That's do-able. What do we want it?


I want to do this one. Darth, put "Surveys" on my to-do list. This is going to be waiting for one of those rare few-day spans where I'm bored and want to/can work on something really new.

7. Putting next to the Membership Icon HOW MANY OTHER MEMBERS have that member MemberMarked

I like that. I take it we mean in the Profiles? If so, Darth will add it to my list and I'll give an ETA when I can.

8. We need a keep message for any message. Just not our own.

Here are some to add to my list:

1. Fix the problem with quotes and apostrophes in the signature part of profiles.

2. Previewer sometimes showing color code before "typos" rather than showing the typo in that color.

3. Advanced Search. Provision for searching in a date range, selecting a board and a poster from user's Favorites lists via dropdown (with AND or OR), selection of "phrase", "any word", or "all words". May have to write a new search backend before doing this, as the MSFT-provided one is cumbersome, takes a lot of space, and is getting slower as the message base grows.

4. Entry of post number in board.asp: Take you to the 50 posts starting with that post rather than to the post itself. Actually, I may get this done before you get it on the list.

5. StockCharts charts aren't displaying correctly if the URL contains "[", which it often does.
