My fees aren't bad (4.50, Zecco), but they weren't really my concern. I asked because I was under the impression that if the order you place for bid support is less than 5000 shares, it won't show up on L2 and won't act as bid support. If that is indeed the case, I'd think it would be better to just slap the ask.
