I want a better way to inform people of why they should want a premium subscription.

Currently, we send out a message via PM. I think one goes out via e-mail when I approve the account, too. Then...all you see is a 'hey you need a subscription, to do that' if you hit a page that requires one.

I've thought about doing some kind of flash tour thing of features.

I really don't want to be all up in people's faces, but still want to get the word out there.

Any good ideas out there or examples of sites you've been to that really induced you into paying for them?
