...why should Paul Allen pay the same sales tax amount on a chocolate bar as I do, when he makes a gazillion more than me??

Which would you rather have? A gazillion more income or more taxes on the gazillionaires?? Freedom or socialism? I would guess that Paul Allen pays one hell of a lot more in sales taxes than you do, since you stay in Portland to avoid the Seattle sales tax that he pays. <g>
