Aiming, I agree that LLY’s failure in the high-impact arena makes COR’s low-impact compounds and know-how more valuable. This part of the equation is incontestable.
However, LLY’s failure reduces the value of COR own high-impact technology. Moreover, there’s a reasonable chance that only high-impact Ampakines will be potent enough to be efficacious in some disease settings, so the hit to this component of COR’s underlying value is pretty significant, IMHO.
Please don’t reply (as others have done) that COR’s scientists are so much smarter than LLY’s that COR will easily overcome whatever problems LLY encountered.

Do we really know this? I don’t a lot of stock into the speculation about which BP’s are and aren’t interested.
