OT: <Have you visited a nursing home these days?> even quality nursing homes are despairing for failing elderly. And the there be too many nursing homes that are bad at best.
It is a crime that this country provides NO coverage for keeping the ailing elderly at home.
I worked my butt off as a trader to fulfill a promise that my mother never be in a nursing home and i prevailed by the skin of my teeth.
I get intensely emotional about the BS we call healthcare for the elderly in the U.S., and i point the blame at the Boomers(overall,that is,as there are surely boomers that do the right thing); the elderly are getting shafted in this country because the Boomers control the vote.
Just wait when the Boomers get old, o then you will here the NOISE, but not before; i still consider the Boomers to be overall the most self-obsessed, self-indulgent generation in the history of this country.Max
