There are two goals to these acquisitions - I believe. The first obviously is to increase revenue. The second, also in my opinion, is to acquire more space to store. Storing cord blood samples is not an easy task, it's very technical. The company that has the capcity to store and hold for years is the one that will reap the harvest of profits.
One only has to look at all the space they have acquired, Las Vegas, China, Germany, South America. I think it is plainly obviously that they are positioning themselves to globally dominate this market. Other cord blood storage comapnies will be paying CBAI a fee to store their samples, because Cord Blood America will have all the resources and space to do it.
