I thought that was kinda funny! That's the Repugnantkins answer to HR 3200....I'll bet that bill is still on Nancy Pelosi desk buried under 17 tons of papers....yeah, they used that!!!
Anyway, the more important point is that I look at this from the larger perspective...I simply consider HC to be another piece of the "puzzle".
I believe health care could have been fixed very easily....
the larger question which looms is: within the knowledge (and, Obama et al. are NOT stupid people) that all social and/or economic systems have flaws, capitalism must have flaws. Why not repair them, especially, when they are obvious and glaring and easily repairable?
Why "fundamentally change" the system?
My objection is to the fundamental change and lack of "repair"...IMO....that approach tells me an attempt is being made to undermine and destroy the foundation of this nation.
look at what the Dems are doing:
1) They've usurped Wall Street...they've assured that the "crooks" on wall street remain intact and keep generating the dollars...but, now the Dems control them...
2) they've taken over most of the auto industry....the nation's largest real goods dollar producer....they gave the UAW control of it....(no corruption there?? huh?
as an aside: on 4/16/2009 US general properties filed for bankruptcy.....the largest real estate failure in US history....$29 billion....it went unnoticed in the news.....when just before that Chrysler failed with only $9 billion in obligations....yet, it was a "disaster"...we need a bail-out....and the UAW ends up with 55% of Chrysler....Hmmmm, yet, no one here sees any possibility other than Obama is a staight shooter and correcting the mistakes of the "evil capitalists"...
3) Thru Freddie & Fannie, the US gov holds the paper on over half the nation's private houses...
4) HC....16% of the economy....controlled by Obama/Dems & SEIU....Hmmmmm? How many people in the SEIU?
Hmmm? let's see UAW, SEIU....card check is alive and doing very well, so far.....fast track the illegals to citizenship (will all of them be wage earners over $200,000 per year or a part of the 47% that doesn't pay taxes and gets free HC, Education, and all US social services?)
5) then, we add....cap & trade initiative....the nuclear treaty with the Russians (today)(our nuclear weapons are deterioriating and now cannot be updated)....sing Kum Bah Yah with Amedinejahd....
but, yet, no one here sees a pattern of willful destruction of the US & capitaism from within by the left.....
and, while it may seem like I covered a lot of ground...HC is just a part of the overall deluge of programs to "fundamentally Change" America.....what he didn't say was: "into a failed socialist state".....
there, I gave ya something to work with....take your time....pick at a piece of it tomorrow or whenever you like....you have a "million" openings...
