It was reported on a radio interview by a USAToday sports reporter. I think your analysis of the situation is pretty good. Guess it depends on what the Sox throw at them and what the Marlins are looking for. I think they would have to put up Arroyo in any trade to get another pitcher & the top prospect SS Ramirez. With the signing of Renteria for a 4+yr deal, it very well could be feasible.
