Yes, the laptop I am now using is proof of that! Glad I can clear up that item of FUD.

And I can also confirm, through side by side tests with my other Dell laptop, that my solid state SED and activated TPM definitely do not slow down my new laptop. It's actually blazingly faster. And it also gives me immense peace of mind from a data safety point of view.
