Well, it'll get used for many different things, I'm sure, but the reason I've wanted one all my life is to indulge myself in a huge passion of mine: Old and unusual Japanese motorcycles. I want a place to collect, restore, and display them.

Speaking of R-man stuff, I just got back from buying about 150-200 used railroad ties from the crew that has to get rid of them. They set up shop for only a couple of days in each area, sell what they can, then move on. They're delivering another couple of loads tomorrow, and since it'll be their last day in the area, they're giving me all the ones nobody buys. I'll end up paying an average of about $1 per tie, with some of them in excellent condition and most in very good condition.

I was at the local lumberyard yesterday looking at ties and they wanted $10.99 each for them in good condition. I've got a number of landscaping projects waiting for these ties.

Well, off to rip a bunch of cedar boards into trim pieces for the exterior of the room addition and get some more of them nailed on while I've got a little sunlight left and it's cooled down.

Will get back to geeking later tonight. Current project is to write a top-to-bottom advertisement management system.
