I also went to see Ghost Writer this weekend. I'd say the movie industry is way too enamored with Roman Polanski. I went in with fairly high expectations, and instead found a movie that while it tried it's best to be Hitchcockian (can I say that word?), I thought Hitchcock did it so much better 40 years ago. I figured out the "mystery" very early into the movie, as did my spousal_unit. I kept waiting for some grand excitement and it never came. Felt like a very long movie. I'd give it 2.6 pickles and wait for it on Netflix.
BTW, in my never ending search for the perfect house, I had to wonder, the house the Prime Minister lived in was incredible, and the blending of windows to give the amazing view of the beach was outstanding, but wouldn't a house of concrete and granite be cold? The house always looked to me like you'd have to wear a sweater year round in that house? Just a thought.

"Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning."
