I believe that your assumption that most of the investment by Intel Capital (IC) was invested “during the dotcom days” is wrong. Let me quote from the same press release: “In 2009, Intel Capital invested US$327 million in 107 investments with approximately 38 percent of funds invested outside the U.S. and Canada”.

That was not my assumption, Where did you get that idea? However all you have done to refute it is to post a quote of a $327 Million investment in 2009 out of a total of $9.5 Billion. Had they done that for all the 10 years of the 2000s it would only account for ~1/3 of the $9.5 Billion. You have hardly made your point which I never disagreed with in the first place. Maybe you're right. I just wonder how successful these investments have been. Do you have any idea?

I hop you would not distract the readers of my post # 88009 titled, “A sudden increase in the real value of Intel”:

You're talking it the wrong way. I would like to believe there is a sudden increase in the real value of Intel but I haven't seen any evidence of it yet. I encourage you to make your case.
