You don't need to look very far back to see Democrats making the hard decisions and doing the right thing for the country.

By the way, the data shows the big spenders throughout the last dozen administrations to be Republicans, and the fiscal conservatives to be the Democrats, but that usually doesn't stop the revisionists from trying to rewrite history the other way.
