oh yes, it would suit me if the government were much more able to enforce the regulations and laws. There are entirely too many laws for them to hope to enforce. Get rid of all the rules and regs they aren't or can't police. Corporations have run all over this country, use it, abuse it. Government has failed miserably, just look at this "crisis". Created by Government so that the Corporations have all the benefit of the risks when times are good and get bailed out when the risk goes bad.
And we need the Govs to manage infrastructure accross state lines.
The rails, the interstates highway system, air traffic control, lots of stuff. But when they try to manage or get in the business of providing goods, services, "well being"... that segment of our society gets ruined.
Energy, Health Care, Housing, Automobiles, Education - all messed up by government. Look at GM, Medicare Fraud and Waste, Biofuel nonsense, the mortgage melt down. Talk to teachers about the "no child left behind" joke... Look at the huge up and down swings in the economy since 1913 when the disasterous Central Bank and Federal Income Tax came into being. Federal Gov should just get out, wind it down. IT can't keep getting bigger. IT can't fulfill the promises. "The era of big government is over" said President Clinton and he worked towards that aim. But New World Order Bush and Obama have ramped it up. IT will get smaller, one way or another, either by a default on the debt or mandate from the people. It's coming, and it won't be pretty.... imho hge
