Hi again Alton.

This has been a great conversation.

I've experienced so many downturns I would consider selling out of an equity during an uptrend a success!

Selling at a profit is always a success. Whether or not you have any shares left is really a secondary consideration IMO.

After all, investing, however you manage it is about making money.
Further, after the 2001-2002 downturn, and the debacle we just went through the last 18 months, taking as small a risk as possible versus the potential reward is the right decision in my opinion.

A Bird in the Hand and all that.
