LD -AIM is less desirable I think in an account that you actually want to HOLD assets and have them have a certain asset allocation.
The allocations of ETF index funds I own I like using standard AIM.
The individual stocks that I own that I would like to have less risk in I use LD -AIM.
Also be careful how big a hold zone you want. 10% SAVE AND 10% Min Order Size creates an awfully large hold zone.
1) 5% SAFE and 10% min order size makes some sense (reverses standard AIM but same hold zone size)
2) Think about how much you want a stock to be able to fall before running out of cash and how much you want it to rise before selling out. Use that to determine how much stock and cash to start with.
3) I find starting new accounts were much more comfortable for me than converting existing accounts.
