Geos who write reports for stock companies must be ' Qualified Persons '. No argument there. But he writes, in this case, a description of the program and gives out the results. Like has always been done for the last 100 years or more. NO he is not licensed by the Canadian Gov. Each of our Provinces has its Engineering and Geological Associations. You will see P Eng and P Geo everywhere. Geologists and Engineers can join them in as many of our Provinces as they feel the need to. For Securities work dealing with Stock Companies they must not only be properly licensed Provincially but they must also sign off to the SECURITIES Commissions that they have read and understand N I 43-101. Then they are 'Qualified' to do that particular report.
