GMPW - Trade marks are strong and well protected. From the news:
The share cancellation, unanimously ratified by the Board of Directors in an extraordinary meeting, was part of a settlement agreement reached between the company and Graebert GmbH of Berlin, relating to an alleged infringement of GiveMePower's registered trade mark rights.
The recently settled lawsuit was based on this:
Allegations against the Defendants are detailed in GiveMePower's March 16, 2007 Verified First Amended Complaint ("FAC"). The FAC alleges the following causes of action: (1) breach of contract; (2) breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing; (3) breach of the duty of loyalty; (4) breach of fiduciary duty; (5) intentional interference with contractual relationships; (6) intentional interference with prospective economic advantage; (7) unfair competition; (8) conversion; (9) misappropriation of trade secrets; (10) fraudulent inducement; and (11) injunctive relief.
(From 8/16/07 company press release):

Their claims had merit.
So we have a company in GMPW with good trademark protection and, I assume, a meaningful amount of working capital after the settlement. And a great share structure. And, imo, a quality CEO.
