Well b2b,

Just looked on google earth at the state of California. We have two main sections of farm land here. One is northern California, Tracy, Manteca, Fresno, Modesto. They grow tomatos up here in Northern California in the summer. I see trucks always. For winter, it's just a little bit to chilly. The farmers have to worry about the frost and rain. The other area is much larger, wish is southern California. Corcoran, Visalia and Tulare. It's a whole huge area of miles and miles of farm land. Southern California is a little warmer of course then Northern. Think of it, tomatos like heat to grow. Their winters are still fairly warm. 70's-80's and they don't get too much rain down there.
