Fixed satellite services provider Intelsat was able to immediately provide critical communication links after the recent Haiti earthquake.

Measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale, this earthquake caused havoc in the region and caused severe damage to the local infrastructure.Intelsat ( News - Alert) was able to respond to the first customer request for assistance within hours of the disaster.
