There are classic concerns raised by genetic engineering in general: the fear that stems from ignorance and uncertainty - what if something goes wrong with this technology? (specifically: these guys at Monsanto are playing with genes! how can we be sure that whatever they made will stay where it suppose to?). And there is worry that this superior technology is placing greater powers in the wrong hands - evil Monsanto. I'm not saying Monsanto is the absolute good guy, still we're not talking about Google or Microsoft as Monsanto provides seeds for food and survival and as long as there's hunger and no better solution, we cannot dismiss the benefits from GM seeds.
