A CAMPAIGN AGAINST NAKED SHORTING

If you are able and have the time, why not prepare a talk on PalTalk regarding this issue.

Let me know when it will take place and I will record it and turn it into an MP3.

I imagine Canuck could host the MP3, as he has done in the past.

We could spread the word around the boards about your talk and encourage other CMKXers to write also. The MP3 itself could include instructions on whom to send it to and where to get information for contacts to broaden the campaign.

This information could also be spread to other boards for other companies in similar positions (regarding naked shorting) as CMKX -- expanding the number of people involved.

Then everyone writing elected officials (at all levels) could download the MP3 and burn it to a CD to include with their letters, emails, etc.

If your talk is permanently hosted on a web site, direction to the URL/link may be all that is needed to include with letters and emails to elected representatives at various levels of civil government.

Maybe someone could produce a CD or DVD of your talk(s) on this subject and sell it for cost (or even to make profit, if you were agreeable) to make getting it around even easier. The profit motive may even help, as a motivated individual would then advertise to spread the message further again.

Thus, thousands of these messages would showing up on the desks of elected representatives, along with the personal messages against naked shorting.

Furthermore, those who did not want to include a personal message could just send the CD or DVD and ask those receiving it to just listen to become more informed about a problem that plagues American (and other) stock markets -- or, at the very least, just direct others to the web page with the MP3.

Dateline could also be notified.

Dave Patch, elcamino and others with web sites may also want to help spread this message.

And I'm sure others could think of many additional ways to expand this into a nation-wide campaign to eradicate naked shorting.

Just the shareholder base of CMKX could make a strong impression, if most people took part. And if it spread outside this base the results could be surprising.

If you decided to mention CMKX as a prime example in your talk (even if in just passing), others may become aware of this stock too and share in the financial blessings that many of us expect in the future from CMKX.
