If past history means anything, then yes they could be 'outright lying to their shareholders' You and I both know of several statements they have made that were lies.

"do they have everything in place already" - common sense and logic point to no. If you understood the magnitude of effort required to bring a product to the market place then you would start to see where a one-man show (yes tommy boy again) just could not run this thing unless.... unless by chance they only intend on running a PR campaign and re-hash old product to shareholders(unsolicited too). All the while content on selling shares that were dumped to friends and partners back in the Pino days and more recently.
Now - **if** they are *cough* legit you would see the marketing dept already paying checks to the design/print offices(which are often under non-disclosure so no news leaks there but they would be buying up shares), they would of already landed space in the trade-rag mags who are generally not under non-disclosure so more folks buying shares and talking about this. All this is done well in advance. You would see retail contracts being negotiated for either planogram space(done month/months in advance) or end caps. Distributors generally don't know much about the products stock symbol but some do, and understand the opportunity available to them...yet still no buying. Between the testers, producers, shippers, distributors, marketers, retailers, lawyers and all their business contacts, friends and family - we sit here at 0 bid - and dirt for volume. Nobody talking about it either. It really does not add up to anything but samples being sent out this quarter... and that is if they don't PR something about shipping delays due to the unicorn strike and fairy dust supply.
