I just bought Citigroup (C) earlier this week because someone convinced me regarding the insider transactions (public info - see for example, yahoo finance , stock symbol , and click on "insider transaction.") at $3.38. I am considering buying some more since it has moved down to $3.34 but haven't decided yet. The big wigs at C have bought over 2 million shares in the last 6 months without selling any. The total insider shares held (same public available source) is now over 71 million shares. But, I have yet been unable to ascertain WHY. Does anyone have any insights or ideas as to why this is happening? I'm pretty good at researching so if you have anything you would like me to check out for you I would be more than happy to reciprocate any help.
