Well, I claim to be Canadian, but no canadian recognizes me anymore in conversation.

12 years in Montreal, 8 years in France, this small town Ontario boy hasn't had conversations at length with anyone that speaks english as a first language more than once a year.

I tried teaching English to adults a few months ago in France, it was a bust. They'd mispronounce words and screw up grammar and it all made perfect sense to me, so I wouldn't correct them.....
