Got a point. In some ways this market reminds me of 1987 before the crash. Fundamentals were deteriorating, the market had already peaked and was churning downward. Basically, it was like Wiley Coyote after running off a cliff. Standing on air with nothing below. CRASH. I went to lunch that day with my coworkers and we calculated that collectively we had lost well over $1 million that day.

In my view frequently stated, right now the downside risk is greater than the upside opportunities for profit. So far as usual the market has been ignoring my views (SURPRISE!). I've been playing it very defensively. Only buying perfect setups at the very bottom of the box, tight stops, quick profits. Actually have made very minor profits since August but am net positive. Doesn't make for great war stories but sometimes not losing money is the most attainable goal. This choppy sideways market has been difficult for many traders.
