I had a friend contact that police department. When he first spoke to the policeman, the guy was surprised that CKGT was a US-Listed company and asked how much it was worth. The policeman said he would look into it a little and to call back later. My friend did so and his response to me was as follows:

"I talked with the police guy yesterday again, it was a long conversation. In a nut shell, he doesn't know whether the company violating law(with exact the same name as CKGT) is CKGT. But he has a suspicion that it is. Also there are other company's using the CKGT's products in similar scams. He said he will know for sure in about 2 months and ask me to call back then."

I dunno, I'm of the opinion right now that there may have been some fraud using CKGT's products/name/etc, but its not CKGT.
