I hope that it is not the norm but I have been receiving quite a few e-mails from my Catholic friends reiterating my friend’s myopic view.

Absolutely she is contradicting herself being pro-life and pro-war just as Bush exhibits the height of insincerity being anti-abortion or pro-life while backing the Chechens in the slaughter of the Russian children, other terrorist organizations and using deleted uranium in which one of the consequences includes a multitude of dead or deformed babies.

Granted past presidents are guilty of the same or similar crimes but for Bush to take matters to such a degree and to do so in the name of Jesus is the peak of hypocrisy.

I have been proud of a few of the Church’s stances even though my buds choose to ignore them, anti-war being one and coming out for evolution another.

When the Catholic Church in some instances starts to look liberal you know we are in trouble.
