I gave up on it and decided to stay with avast.

When I went to install the windows security suite thing, it would just stop and say it had "encountered an error".

I also noticed that after trying to install it, my windows automatic updates was on. It is usually off.


How do I turn it back off? I seem to have forgotten. (edit - I figured it out)


I prefer to manually go to the windoze update site and decide what I'm going to download.
