Microsoft will license or buy Neomedia.

Many think that Microsoft will not license unless forced to. Historically, there are good reasons to believe that that may be true. However, the mobile market is enormous. The damage to Neomedia that would be caused by a patent infringement by Microsoft would also be enormous. Therefore, the penalty for an IP patent infringement by Microsoft would also be enormous. I think that Microsoft is wiser than it is greedy, and on this basis I say that it will either license or buy Neomedia. The possibility that it will pirate the IP and not pay Neomedia is, I think, remote.
