I have to disagree. We are seeing what Hurst called pseudotrends. It is entirely USD and credit induced. Both up and down. The markets should have topped well before 2007, should never have decline so severely last year, and now we will see the upside of these weak USD/credit/stimulus effects.

Eventually there will be a downside as the larger cycles are just sitting there waiting to take hold of these markets. Just don't ask me to predict when.
