Perhaps this indicates that Sam isn't completely comfortable with the stability of Exobox and is hedging himself against getting laid off again. If true I think this is smart. Exobox needs a bunch of at-home "consultants" that aren't dependent on the company for a paycheck but can help move the company forward. Ideally having these consultants work for stock only to conserve cash.
