brikk....here's the real problem with this entire discussion....and, the reason for all the controversy surrounding QASP....

Let us suppose you are correct.....there is a CD....

Why, why, why would a CD holder convert NOW??????

You were just talking about bears and manipulation to support prices to maximize CD profit.....

AS a CD holder....I'd wait until the deal's were done....then convert.....that maximizes CD profit.....converting the CD now is almost "stupid".....

UNLESS????

ps: and, I'm not being a smart ass....just think about it....why would a CD holder convert today when holding it for a short time brings a gazillion more $$$$$$????
