I think all shareholders would like to have an independent party look into the SEC's integrity further as there is so little trust in them. This would benefit the SEC, since they would be able to show the world that they are doing an amazing job.
Just think how good the SEC will look once an independent party provides evidence that all their hard work ensures integrity in the stock market.
This could be their chance to shine!
The SEC will never be questioned again with regards to their integrity.
I believe that if the SEC has done their job, then letting an independent agenency go through the records will help ease the public trust in their function.
This will cause a incredible stock run in the entire stock market because the public trust will be restored. No one will question the SEC again for a long time!!!
