Isn't it possible that the dollar was overvalued when at 83 cents? Maybe that was the abberation. I am not saying there wont be more declines but the the dollar generally stabilizes. This is not the yen. In the end in which currency do you really feel safer in--that of the strongest military power or in a conglomeration of european failed states. That type of thinking protects the dollar. I am not intending to be jingoistic here either.
Economy will surprise on the upside next year. Roach is the bears battlefatigualia when he predicted naz 6000 for the end of 2000. i actually saw him that day. mb
